This calculator assumes that you are using 4’ x 8’ drywall sheets and that you have an average waste factor of 10%, which is on the low end. Meaning that you will lose 10% of your drywall sheets when you cut and configure your drywall to install on a wall, subfloor, or wherever else you may need drywall sheathing.
