What led you to a career in construction finance (or account mgmt/sales/etc.)?
Previously, I worked at Rabbet. I was selling a construction accounting software to financial institutions. Growing up, my dad was in construction. He was a commercial roofer for a long time, but he retired as an electrician. I enjoy sales because it’s all about helping people.
What is your favorite part of your current role?
I’m excited about my team. Through my training, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with a lot of people on the team. They’re insightful, hardworking, and excited about what we’re doing.
What do you do at Billd?
I set up our subcontractor customers with their first material purchase through Billd.
What’s something new that you’ve learned since being at Billd?
I’ve learned a lot about the risk that contractors take on by purchasing materials themselves. It’s important to recognize that there is an opportunity cost associated with this.
What’s your favorite part about working at Billd?
The team.

I’m a dancer, I own a cat named Miss Kia, and I try to do one new thing every week (it doesn’t always happen).
What would you do with a million dollars?
I’d like to say I’d invest it, but I’d probably buy some property on the water.
What’s #1 on your bucket list?
The number one thing I’d like to do is go to Antarctica.

Traveling and spending time with people I love.
