This paver sand calculator estimates the cubic yards of paver sand needed to complete your next paver project. To use the calculator simply enter the length, width, and thickness of the paver sand you are going to be placing and click on the “calculate” button.

Calculate how much paver sand your project will need

Measure the area that you will be placing your paver sand on, and determine the thickness of the paver sand based on project drawings and specifications. Then enter your measurements into Billd’s asphalt calculator.

The calculator assumes that the average weight of dry sand is 2,620 lbs per CY.

The calculator works by using the equation below:

Width (Feet) x Length (Feet) x Thickness (Feet)

The estimated cost is based on the average cost of screened sand (generally the type of sand used for paver projects) of between $15 and $20 per cubic yard. The price of sand depends on a variety of factors including:
