How does Flex Line work?

You apply through the Billd portal. Once your line is approved and set up, you can request funds in the portal and make payments to bring the balance down. As you pay it down, that credit is available again.

What can Flex Line be used for?

Ordinary business expenses, such as labor, materials, overhead or vendor payments. It isn't project-specific. Restrictions apply.

How is Flex Line different from Material Financing or Pay App Advance?

Material Financing pays your supplier for a specific material order. Pay App Advance gets you paid on a specific approved pay application. Flex Line isn't tied to a project, so it can cover everyday operating costs. Many subcontractors use more than one.

How is my line size set?

We only work with commercial construction, so we understand where you've been and where you're going. Line size is based on your business financials and history.

Who qualifies for Flex Line?

All we do is work with subcontractors, so we understand your business. We qualify based on several factors of creditworthiness specific to the construction industry. Flex Line is built for commercial subcontractors with $4M+ in annual revenue. The line is subject to application, credit review, and approval. Residential-only contractors aren't eligible.

How does repayment work?

Accepted Answer

While you carry a balance, you pay weekly finance charges plus a monthly principal payment, as set out in your agreement. There's no prepayment penalty.

Question 7

Are there fees to keep the line open if I'm not using it?

Accepted Answer

No. You only pay when you use it. There are no fees on unused funds, so you can keep the line open.
